How to make Loaded Meatloaf and Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 package flavoured instant puree
  • 1 ½ pound lean ground beef
  • ¾ cup diced onions
  • 1 ½ Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup bacon pieces
  • ¾ cup chopped green onion
  • 2 cups freshly grated cheddar cheese

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400*
Mash potatoes according to instructions

In a large bowl, place the meat, onion, Worcestershire sauce and breadcrumbs
Mix by hand to incorporate everything, add the egg and mix again

Place this mixture in the prepared baking dish
Top the meat mixture with the prepared potato purée.

Spread mashed potatoes evenly over meatloaf
Sprinkle grated cheese over mashed potatoes

Sprinkle bacon pieces over cheese
Sprinkle green onion cut on top with crumbled bacon

Cover the pan with aluminum foil
Cook 40 minutes at 400*
