Tacos De Carne Asada Yammy


1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon of kosher salt
1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
1/2 cup of olive oil
2 limes, juicy
1 orange, juicy
2 tablespoons of white vinegar
2 lbs flank fillet, fat trimmed
salt and black pepper to taste


Combine 1 teaspoon black pepper, kosher salt, garlic and
jalapeno in a mortar. Grind the mixture until a paste is formed.
Pour vinegar, orange juice and lime juice into a container with lid
o glass bottle; add garlic mixture and shake well to combine.
Place the meat in a shallow bowl; pour in the marinade. Cover the
Bowl with plastic wrap and cool for 4 to 6 minutes until flavors
have been absorbed by the steak.
Turn the grill over medium heat and lightly grease the grill.
Transfer the steak from the marinade to a cutting board. Sprinkle
with pepper and salt to season and cut the meat into thin strips through
the grain.
Grill for about 5 minutes on each side until the center is light pink
and the exterior is slightly charred.
